Herr! Meine Zeit liegt in Deinen Händen,
Du hast sie begonnen, Du wirst sie beenden.

Herr! Du warst bei mir an all meinen Tagen,
Du bist die Antwort auf all meine Fragen.

Herr! Du bist mir im Zweifel die Zuversicht,
Du spendest im Dunkel mir liebendes Licht.

Herr! Du bist das Wort in meinen Gedanken,
Du öffnest der Liebe jegliche Schranken.

Herr! Du bist der Sinn in allem Sein,
Du wirst mich rufen und ich kehre heim.

Lord, my time is in your hands.
You have started it and you will end it.
Lord, you were with me in all of my days.
You are the answer to all of my questions.
Lord, you are my confidence in doubt.
You gave me loving light in darkness.
Lord, you are the word in my thoughts.
You open any barriers of love.
Lord, you are the sense in all being.
You will call me and I return home.
